Menu link doesn't move with its item

When a menu item has a linked mockup and I insert new items above, then the link doesn't moves with the original item. Very uncomfortable, because I have to remember all the links after a rearange to recover the proper linking.

Ouch. Sorry about that, Laszlo. I can reproduce this bug and will report for the team to look at. I'm hopeful that there might be a recommendation to fix this.

This may be incredibly detailed, but still: I have a symbol that is basically nothing more than a tab bar with some predefined tabs, which is reused throughout my project. Different mockups use this symbol with the "selection" property overridden. I noticed that when I insert a new tab or shuffle the order of the tabs in the symbol source, the selected tab in the mockups that use the symbol is no longer the right one. So apparently the selected tab page is stored as a number. It would be nice if the selected tab would be primarily determined by the tab text, so the correct tab is still selected when the tabs in the symbol source change. You could always fall back to the numerical approach when the stored string can no longer be found. After all, when something is in the "General" tab, it should probably remain there, even if this tab shifts a few positions to the right.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Define selected tab in a tab bar by text instead of index.

Jeroen, I've moved your bug to this thread so we can keep them all together. Thanks for reporting.

Yes, these bugs and their solves are also similar each other.

Excellent. I didn't see this as a bug, but if you do, who am I to complain :)
