With what I call "action columns" sorting is not applicable.
Other than that, as you can see in the screenshot, not all data columns have been made sortable. For which I agree with you this might be confusing for a user. But if you know beforehand that that sort obtion will never be used, why spend time on it?

Currently the data grid supports the shortcut ^ (and V) to indicate the column can be sorted. This is only supported in the first column, it would be great if it was possible to use this in any column as it clarifies (to a customer and to a developer) which columns are sortable.
