Inappropriate?Same on Ubuntu
More precisely, if Caps Lock is On then it works as if the Shift would be pressed too. Instead of Close CTRL+W works as Close All which has the CTRL+SHIFT+W shortcut. The problem general to all shortcut.
I’m sad

Inappropriate? So It seems the keyboard shortcuts are case-sensitive. Maybe it's not a bug, maybe it's a feature :-)
I’m amused

right, how to other software tools work? I think I could check "see if the shift is down" instead of "look at the key that was pressed"... -
Inappropriate? When the user set ON the Caps Lock, his intention is not to change shortcut working but to type in capital. You can decide quickly without researching other sofwares. Its a usability bug here :)
I’m excited

allright, I believe that. Let me see what I can do. I fear that I might be limited in what Adobe AIR lets me do...we'll see. -
Inappropriate? Thanks Giacomo for your quick answer and for having a look at this problem.

I’m thankful
