transparent background config doesnt work

Edit Subject

I used the info here to create the config file for mockups for desktop:

The file is in the folder:
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.EDE15CF69E11F7F7D45B5430C7D37CC6C3545E3C.1\Local Store
I have the latest balsamiq.

Yet, balsamiq exports the png with white background.

The config looks like this:

Hi, Prashant. Can you confirm that the config file is saved as text only?

If you'd be willing, can you also email me a sample file that's exported as PNG to support@balsamiq.com?

  Just to be clear, by "text only", I'm referring to the file format. It should also have the .cfg extension. Using Notepad or a terminal window will save in this format. Sometimes the file is saved in RTF, and that's not readable by Mockups.

i used the dropbox link to the config file that peldi linked to in the post and pasted it in the appropriate folder.

do you want the exported png file or the original balsamiq file?

  Can you send me both? I don't see your username in the folder path, by the way. So also wondering if can take a screenshot of the path in Windows explorer where the file is saved and email that as well.

Aha! Found it. Thanks for sending the files, Prashant. Everything is correct on your end, but there is a bug.

When you select File > Export All Mockups to PNG, we are exporting transparent PNGs correctly. However, when you select just Export to PNG (which exports only the current Mockup), the PNGs aren't transparent.

We did some work on export in the last release, so perhaps this broke then. For the time being, maybe use Export All Mockups to PNG until we fix the bug.

Thank you for reporting. Sorry this is broken right now, but now we can fix it.

  Just confirmed with our devs that transparency does not work with export to clipboard. We can only copy the uncompressed, non-transparent bitmap.
