Supporting right-to-left content
There is a problem with inputting hebrew text (right-to-left direction). While using system font I see the input, I can't select text. The alignment is wrong. The tab order is reversed. Is there a plan to support hebrew in a usable way? I would buy the product (desktop version), but I'm limited to graphics, which is too limiting.

Inappropriate?Hi Felixg, thanks for your feedback. The new version of the Flash Player (and Adobe AIR), is supposed to be able to support right-to-left languages properly. I will look at taking advantage of it in a future release, but I do not have a timeline for it yet.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I can't even *input* any text in Hebrew (for example into controls label and paragraph of text).
What am I doing wrong?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hello Pasha, you're not doing anything wrong. We just don't support RTL languages right now. Adobe just came out with this http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/te... which we'll take advantage of in the future, but it might take a while (probaby not until next year).

Thanks for the quick reply!
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed :) -
Inappropriate?Hi everybody,
There is a PARTIAL support of Hebrew, as a matter of fact. If you switch to "Use system fonts" (under "View" - I'm on ver 1.6.40), You can enter Hebrew text.
BUT - other than that, no RTL support which is a REAL drag!
@Peldi - Balsamiq looks like my dreams coming true - but untill RTL is supported I really can't work with it. Back to horrible PPT mock-ups, I'm afraid.... If you could allow basic HTML coding, us lot here can enter our own RTL tags for ya
I’m frustrated

Hi Itay, Jan is not far away...hang in there! Allowing HTML is not really an option unfortunately... -
What's in January? Adobe's new feature launch, or your RTL support? if the latter, I'll wait patiently :-) -
Sorry, should have been more clear. We are going to switch to requiring Flash Player 10 in January. Player 10 has native support for RTL content, so we'll take advantage of it as soon as we can. More here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/te... -
That's great. Do you tweet somewhere, so I could follow? -
Do I ever! http://twitter.com/balsamiq :)
