Multiple Icons in Tree Pane?
Is there a way to combine icons in the tree pane? ( i.e. I'd like the + or - icon combined with the folder open or closed icon for a given node)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Right. The problem comes when you need to show a tree view that has expandable nodes that are also selectable.
Here is an example from a real Windows UI I need to demonstrate:

I always end up exporting from Mockups to an image editor to fake it. I need to also do this when I want to have "Partially selected" values as I've faked here:

Hi brandon, if the second icon is always a checkbox then this could be solved with supporting the [x] and [ ] (and maybe a new [=] notation for partially selected?) in the Tree...easier to do, but not as flexible... -
Inappropriate? Is there any reason why the 2nd icon always has to be a checkbox? Meaning, couldn't you do "v [x]" as well as "[x] v"? Oh wait... that screws up because you wouldn't know if "v" was to make an icon, or to make the letter "v" right?
How about if you escape the character via the "[ ]" symbol? So you could do the following:
[ ] [x] this would be one non selected, then one selected box
[+] [ ] this would be plus sign then unselected checkbox (like my windows example above.
