Hi there. It was a contextPath issue after all! In fact, there were 2 bugs related to it!
Please try a pre-release version of Mockups for JIRA with the fix in it here if you have the time: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
Thanks for your help and patience,
Peldi

Inappropriate?Hi Mr. Dave, that's odd. Did this use to work? What version of Mockups for JIRA are you using? It's in Help / About Balsamiq Mockups in the Mockups editor.
-
Inappropriate?Version: 1.5.20 - 02/08/2009 03:01 (JIRA)
Flash Player Version: MAC 10,0,12,36
It has been out there for some time - just never was motivated to report it until i had multiple images last night on the same ticket.
I’m Hope it is a simple fix.

Hi Mr.Dave, thanks for the info. I'll try to repro locally. More soon, Peldi -
Inappropriate?Hi there Dave. So I just tested 1.5.21 on Jira 3.13 and couldn't reproduce the bug. Could you please try upgrading to 1.5.21? http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...

Inappropriate?I've got the same problem running Jira 3.13.4, Balsamiq Mockups 1.6.17 seeing this in the logs as soon as I click on "Add/Edit UI Mockup":
[...] webwork.view.taglib.IteratorTag doStartTag
WARNING: Value is null! Returning an empty set.
[...] com.atlassian.plugin.servlet.ResourceDownloadUtils serveFileImpl
INFO: Serving file done.
[...] com.atlassian.plugin.servlet.ResourceDownloadUtils serveFileImpl

[...] webwork.view.taglib.IteratorTag doStartTag
WARNING: Value is null! Returning an empty set.
Is there a fix for this issue? A workaround?
I’m not that frustrated, but my users are confused...

Hey Christian, sorry for the delay in responding to this. Just to make sure, you see the bug reported by Mr.Dave with the broken images? I wonder if it's a contextPath issue...what do you guys use? -
Inappropriate?

Hm, can you point me in some direction? You're not talking about this page right?

The context path of Jira? It's set to just "/jira". Or what contextPath are you referring to?
I’m glad Peldi got my attention.

Hi Christian, yes I was talking about this page, the first screenshot at the top with the load dialog with the broken images.
I will set my context path to /jira to see if that's the cause. Give me a few more days and I'll report back. -
