Lost some work! Auto Save Please?
I had been working on a mockup for quite a while, got looking at the Getsatisfaction boards --- and then went back to my mockup. Decided to save it, clicked "save and close" --- ended up at the login screen --- I guess my session had timed out? I lost what I was working on. This is prompting me to think the online version will need some sort of Autosave or Draft feature ... Wordpress does this using a Revision history-- I think something would be needed to protect your mockups from bad timing autosaves ... but not sure if you have support for version history or not.
Either way, that was a very sad experience --- to complete that much work and unexpectedly be logged out. Maybe a warning via popup asking if I want to keep my session open? I've seen some sites do that where they at least warn you if you don't respond within a certain amount of time your session will expire. I'm sure I could Mockup a dialog to explain :) But I've got to start working on the one I lost... haha.

Inappropriate?I have lost a mockup I was working on too, although if I remember correctly, the "save and close" looked liked it work fine and I only noticed the save had failed because myBalsamiq loaded the project's mockups (instead of showing the saved mockup) and the mockup I was creating was not there. I now tend to export the mockup on a regular basis in case the save fails. The export and import are great and fast, I'd be happy if myBalsamiq did a regular auto export :)
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?I haven't experienced this problem lately --- and I've been doing quite a bit of work on one particular mockup, even with time passing the saving has been good. Although I've also been in the habit of using Save and Continue a lot more often now.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Autosave would be nice.

Inappropriate?Hi guys, sorry for not chiming in earlier. I agree that loosing work is one of the worse things in life, and I feel awful that my product caused it. I have added "think about autosave" on our TODO list, I have a couple of ideas. It won't be easy to do but we'll definitely try our best, stay tuned.
