Lag between pressing down arrow and highlighting the next control in Quick Add causes wrong control to be selected
When I search for "text", I often actually want the Text Input control (second on the list), so I hit the down arrow followed by return. If I type these two keys quickly enough, I get the Text Area control instead (first on the list).
I'm guessing this might have something to do with the animation it does when you hit the down arrow since I'm not exactly on the world's fastest PC - a 1.7 GHz Pentium M running Windows XP.

Inappropriate?Oh wow, let me see if I can repro it. Thanks for the bug report!

Inappropriate?Ok I was able to reproduce it but I have to hit down pretty darn fast! Let me take a look, it might be due to that animation, which now that I look at it seems a bit long and gratuitous to me...stay tuned and thanks again!

Inappropriate?OK bad news, I disabled the "selection effect" and it didn't make a difference, it seems that Flex's list component is just a bit slow...not sure I can fix it easily but I'll take a look.
