I'm using the Google Drive plugin of Balsamiq which works well from a sharing and backups point of view, but has a few issues. I'll stick to one here. Pressing backspace on a Mac will delete a component up until you press "Save to Cloud". After that, the key won't work. Neither do the arrow keys.
So, in order to effectively use Balsamiq for Google Drive, I either have to "Not save until I'm ready to quit", or I have to save, close the window, open Drive, open my document.

Brendon, sorry to hear this! I have found sometimes in the web apps that clicking somewhere off the canvas (like a button) causes the app to lose focus. Usually this is fixed just by clicking on the canvas again. Maybe give that a try? Click again somewhere on the canvas and then see if the keys work again? If not, please let me know and we'll see what we can figure out. Thanks!Comment -

Hi Ben. Unfortunately that doesn't help. Only closing down the app and opening it again fixes it.

Yes, there is a bug with the "Save as New Mockup" function. We have fixed it in our next release, scheduled on Dec 10th.
The bug happens when you use "Save as New Mockup"; then proceed to resave the new mockup(bmml). This will cause duplicate mockups(bmml). If you use "Save as New Mockup" then reopen the bmml from the Drive directory, it will not produce the error. -
