Improving Quick Add
1. If you enter keyword in the "quick add" textbox that balsamiq does not know the gui can propose to send the keywod to the author or make it a synonim of an exisiting control if it already exists
Eg. "Pagination" does not exist although it's a common control (In google you can click on it to go to the next page)
Eg "Dropdown" does not give the control called "Combox".
If this list of synonims and new suggestions are shared with all users the system will learn from it users and have an answer for every keyword in a few months for sure.
2. To make adding a control even eaiser I would start filling in the "quick add" textbox as soon as the user start typing on the canvas (and no other control has focus).
This way adding a control is just a matter of starting to type.
The 2 features combined will drive Balsamiq forward at a great speed and lets the user realy feel he is participating!

Inappropriate?I like the idea of passing typing on canvas to Quick Add tool. Such behavior will greatly improve my productivity. Or at least I need a keyboard shortcut to focus on Quick Add tool.1 Comment

Inappropriate?3. Allow me to drag items from the quick add list onto my Canvas. I keep trying to do that and then i have to remember that i have to add it to the canvas and THEN drag it.
