What do you guys think of adding an "Export Selection to PNG Image" feature to the File menu?
This would make it much easier to create reusable components. You would just select a grouped object or any number of separate items, do "Export Selection to PNG Image", then insert an icon linked to that image file wherever you want the component to appear.

That makes sense, DanM. I've used that feature in other tools, and we handle export BMML that way. I'll add to our feature queue.

Hi DanM, please try the new prerelease version (999.850), which includes this new feature. When you Copy the selection, Mockups puts in the clipboard an image which you can paste in another application. You can also Export as PNG (under File menu).
