Error installing Basalmiq - "Sorry, an error occurred. The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author."
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 64bit w/ Firefox with the latest version of AIR installed (1.5). I get the following when attempting to install Basalmiq:

I created a $HOME/.airappinstall.log file which captured the following:
Starting app install of file:///tmp/MockupsForDesktop-1.air
UI SWF load is complete
UI initialized
Unpackaging to /tmp/FlashTmp.8n26D5
unpackaging is complete
application is bound to side-by-side version 1.0
application is bound to this version of the runtime
app id BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop
pub id 2AC69118EBDF987BED0DDB0FDD08468D6BE55BAA.1
failed while unpackaging: [ErrorEvent type="error" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #3003" errorID=3003]
starting cleanup of temporary files
application installer exiting

Basically you have to uninstall any old version of Mockups manually before trying to install the new one.

Inappropriate?Hi John, let me take a look. I know the air file is not corrupt because it installs fine on Mac and Win, so perhaps it's something about AIR 1.5 for linux...I'll google those log traces, thanks for including them.
Anyone else have any insight?

Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author. but your above link works and it will installed your mockup setup fine but yet my problem is remains same i am using window xp sp-2 and i am tring to install flight simulater x a game which is in a win .rar file i will extract it first and tring to installed the air file installer to play please help me.
