enhancements for UI library navigation
With 1.6.48 (I believe) we got a nice overhaul of the UI library, but with the new filter behavior for the tabs, I find my self looking for the right shape much more than before. If I click a tab, it adds/subtracts that tab's shapes to/from the shapes already shown. The shape I want to use is not always in the same place, hence my muscle memory doesn't work.
Before 1.6.48, clicking on a tab always showed the same selection of shapes and the shapes would be in the same place. I could select shapes nigh on automatic muscle memory.
Also, the shapes I use most are spread out across several tabs. Hence, I propose these enhancements for navigating the UI library:
1) make the filter / select behavior of the tabs in the UI library a user preference
2) make one (or more) tabs that the user can populate with the shapes of their preference
My proposal 2 would work in addition to a "Most popular" and "Recently Used" tab, see: http://getsatisfaction.com/balsamiq/t...
The point is that the shapes in a "user defined" tab would not change based on usage, whereas (if I understand correctly) the Most Popular and Recently Used tabs would be based off of the user's use of shapes.

Inappropriate?Hi fschapp, you're right that the new behaviour of "adding to the filter selection on simple click" is not the best. I have just changed it so that a click will only select the one filter you clicked on (like it used to behave), while SHIFT+click will add that button to the filter selection. It says so in the tooltip as well, so hopefully it won't be hard to get used to.

What do you think?
As for user-populated tabs, we plan to start with the "favorites" tab.
