Enhancement: Precise drag (ignore automatic snap)
I sometimes need to precisely resize widgets to get it just right. However it seems that Balsamiq tries to snap to a nearby edges. This is a great feature, however it can be a pain when you need resize with precise control. In Photoshop I can use a modifier keys to disable snapping which gives much finer control.
Note:
I realize also that I can select an item and use the cursor keys to move them precisely, however this does not work with resizing a UI widget.
Could we add a modifier key in Balsamiq that will disable the automatic grid alignment?

Inappropriate? What's the key in Photoshop? Shift is taken (by "maintain aspect ratio"), maybe CTRL or ALT? I like the idea!

Inappropriate?I just tried it, it's CTRL. I'll add it, and for when you move as well (PS does that too). Who knew! :)

Inappropriate?Anyone who has had to build there own UI widget made up of other UI widget will be grateful for this feature.

Inappropriate?I have been using this, and I have to say I am delighted and very thankful this has been implemented. It's fantastic and makes it so much more easier.
You have to try it!!!
Peldi, la ringraziamo per l'attuazione di questo grande funzionalità -
Inappropriate?Reloaded Mockups this morning for the first time in a few days, and was very happy to see this added. Snap-on-resize was one of those things that, while usually a nice feature, was sometimes a maddening nuisance. Thanks a bunch for the simple bypass.
I’m sizing smooooothly.
