Embedding external images? Master Canvases?
Hi, I'm using the latest version of Balsamiq on Air on OS X, I have two questions: (1) I've seen samples of mockups that include external images (e.g. http://getsatisfaction.com/balsamiq/t... -- in the XML the image is embedded this way: <src>file%3A///C%3A/HDL.jpg</src>). I can't figure out how to do that, but badly need it. (2) can I use a mockup as a background for a series of other muckups or do I need to copy/paste every time and then, when a change is needed say in navigation, edit every single one of the mockups. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi Hillel, I have to run but look at this: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
I’m going to reply better when I get back!

Inappropriate?I like the idea of (and feel that I need) Master Canvases. Create a mockup, save it, and then use it as Master Canvas for other mockups. Then, in the future when a change is made to the Master Canvas all other mocks that use the master reflect the changes to the master.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hi Wade, look at the video here: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... - I hope it's what you're looking for!

Inappropriate? The drawback to this solution, as I understand it, is that any links in the master template are lost upon exporting the master to an image. Or am I missing something?
