Detach UI Library to second monitor
It'd be great if the UI Library could take advantage of a second monitor. This would increase your drawing space and allow you to see more controls at once.

Inappropriate? To add to this, there are a number of things I'd love to see at some point with regards to control access and usability.
- Custom Control Sets. When working on a mockup, I tend to use a very small set of controls over and over and over again. I'd love to be able to put these into my own personal group of controls instead of searching through the lists at the top constantly.
- I, like many these days, have a nice big widescreen monitor. When working on mockups, 70% of that space is wasted. I'd like to fill it with a control set. You would be able to see a lot more items without scrolling like you do with everything bunched up at the top. This is similar to the "detached UI" the original poster mentioned.
- Along with, or perhaps even instead of, custom control sets, it would be nice to be able to assign my own shortcut keys to those controls that I use most often. Seriously, there are like 5-8 that I use so much that a shortcut key would speed things up immensely.
I’m inconvenienced in a minor way.

Hi Matthew, thanks for the good feedback. Re: the last point, have you seen Quick Add? http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... - I use it instead of the UI library, it's much faster.
What are the controls you use all the time? Perhaps I need to put them in a separate tab of their own? -
Inappropriate? To further that idea, I'd love to see an optional vertical controls browser (positioned left or right); you could have tabbed panes with 3 control sets (user set, custom set for the file, standard), maybe additionally switchable via dropdown menu.
It'd help to organize the controls in grids with a bit of separation; right now it's hard to tell where one ends and others begin as they are borderless.
I’m enthusiastic

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate? As one becomes more and more experienced, then yes, Quick Add starts to be come more natural and perhaps that is the answer here. For a long time though, I would only use Mockups occasionally and thus didn't know the right names of the controls to type and would have to search through the various bars for it.

Inappropriate? As an intermittent user of Balsamiq rather than a daily user, I am better off seeing the controls represented in a toolbar rather than having to remember their names to select from a drop-down list. So it would be useful to have the option of pinning the UI Library to the side rather than the top.
Is this something that is particularly hard to do in an air application? Going through the threads in this community, I can see several that have asked for essentially the same thing; they're all months old, but still the option hasn't made it's way into a release
