Control for border visibility in tree pane
I want to be able to create a tree pane that is an extension to an existing tree (an imported image) by just placing the new tree pane just below the existing one. I know it won't look exactly right but it gives the idea.
However, I don't have any control over the border visibility and hence it looks even more out of place! Please provide control over border visibility for tree pane - just like you do for Data Grid/Table.
Thanks

Inappropriate?Yes, just bought this product and was stumped to not find any general facilities (like a property inspector) for modifying borders. Whether or not borders are controllable seems to be up to each individual widget type. So, I could not either turn of the borders of the tree. I too really wish I had this basic functionality.

Inappropriate?Hi there. I'll add the little "border" checkbox to the Tree pane soon, thanks for asking for it!

Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Hi guys, you can now hide the border of a Tree control: http://www.balsamiq.com/blog/2009/09/...
I’m happy

So, I tried the new version and opened up an old bmml file in which I had used a tree control. But when I opened the file I noticed that the tree control in the mock-up showed no border even though it previously had a border. However, the border checkbox in the property inspector was checked indicating that the border should have been visible. I could make the border reappear again by unchecking and checking the border checkbox. So while this new feature works it affects any old mock-ups by turning of your borders on tree controls. -
Ouch joes, you're totally right! I'll fix it right now. -
Hi Joes, hmm I tried it and couldn't reproduce it. Do you happen to have an old bmml that shows this? If so, could you email it to me please? peldi@balsamiq.com
