- I have an existing mockup with custom symbols. These symbols are stored in the "assets" subfolder of current folder.
- In Balsamiq, I "clone as new mockup"
- then I save this new mockup in the same folder than the original
- All links to assets are then broken
I have to open the bmml file to change the URL manually to fix it.

Thank you for your report, Maurice. I believe this will be high on the fix list. Much appreciated.

Hi Maurice, I am not able to reproduce this bug with Mockups 2.0.14.
Can you try with the latest version and let me know? http://balsamiq.com/download

I can still reproduce the problem with 2.0.14.
Here is an update of the steps:
- open a mockup with linked asset (my file contains: ./assets/header-member.bmml)
- Right-clic on mockup tab, then select "Clone as new mockup"
- Save the new mockup in the same folder
- Close the mockup
- Open again
-> The link is broken (the new mockups contains: ../../MyFolder/mockups/assets/header-member.bmml) -

I’m
confident I'll reproduce it
Hi Maurice, can you please send to marco@balsamiq.com a zip of the project folder, to help me reproduce the bug?
Another question: what's the full path of the project folder on your disk?
Thank you!

I've seen this problem too, but not with 2.0.14. I don't know what caused it, nor do I know why it cured itself.

Hi all, the problem should be fixed with the Prerelease version 999.879 available here: http://balsamiq.com/products/mockups/...
The fix will be pushed into the main release soon.
Ciao
