Hello,
I was wondering if, now that adobe Air is available for Android, you will be making Mockups available via the Android Market place?
Thanks
Jason

Hi Jason, we don't have short-term plans for it, but thanks for asking for it here so that others can vote on it if they want this to happen.

Would be great to get an Android app to allow us to at least view our mockups on the go.

+1 for an Android version. Love to be able to do mockups on my new Xoom.

Yes, please spend 2 hours to investigate porting Mockups to Air on Android. If you see it's difficult, leave it for later. If you see it's easy, let us know where to find it in the market :-)

This would be great. I could loose my notebook then. I sync with Dropbox so viewing exported .PDF's are no problem but to edit would be great.

There is a third-party utility to do this called "Mockups2Android":

I haven't used it yet but it looks promising.- view 2 more comments

I would love to see Balsamiq on Android, particularly for Honeycomb. I have an android 3.0 tablet and I'm sure Balsamiq would rock on there :)

+1 for Android Gingerbread and +1 for Honeycomb (+1 for iPad2 as well while we're at it).
I believe there's immense value in being able to prototype iteratively with a tool like this right when you're with a customer, using your tablet or large screen smartphone and getting instant feedback. Will be an absolute hit whenever it launches. -

Another vote here. This would be a killer app for web designers just about everywhere.

Another vote for an Android version - especially for tablets. I'd love to be able to use Balsamiq on my Motorola Xoom.

This would be great! I would love to be able to design interfaces using my android tablet :)
-

I want Balsamiq for my Galaxy Tab 10.1. It would be wonderfull it supports adobe air so I think it's possible :)
-
-
+1 for Android - related question, will myBalsamiq run on an Android Browser? Perhaps that is the answer. I don't know because I didn't get into the private beta for myBalsamiq
-
Hi Scott, I just tried it. It sort-of works, double-tapping doesn't map to double-click for some reason so it's hard to edit labels... :( We'll take a look!

+1 for android tablet... I use other apps to mockup ideas using my tablet now, but I have to re do them in balsamiq if we decide to explore the idea further. It would certainly be more convenient.

so +1 for android
The web demo almost works perfectly on my Toshiba folio 100. It crashed when you tried to go down the page with a physical mouse attached, but worked perfectly when just using my finger.
After having shown my new boss how much better it is to demo a web design in Balsamiq than photoshop (we did both and Balsamiq recieved no stupid questions) both he and I want it on a Android tablet.
Being able to pass it back and forth to work on a mock up would rock.
so +1 for android.-
UPDATE - as noted before the online version doesn't allow for editing text - such as button etc... maybe an extra button in the properrties would get over this i.e. to duplicate the double click.

+1 for android.
I've recently got a Motorola Xoom, that I'd love to use as a blackboard for designing applications on my job. I've been using balsamiq for a while, so +1 for android. -

+1 for Android version. I guess that would be the most useful app for an designer on a tablet!
I don't own a tablet currently but am looking out for one. If there should be balsamiq on android I wouldn't hesitate any longer and buy both!
speaking of that: would be great if the desktop licences work for tablets too ;) -
-
Any updates on this? By now it should be evident that Android tablets are gaining traction (27% of all tablet sales worldwide I believe), not to mention Adobe coming out with their own prototyping tablet software. I would guess many people will just move to using Adobe's solution and stop using Balsamiq anyway.

-
Now, because of tapping, working on a tablet is horribly slower than on a desktop. I don't think it will be my main platform, just a secondary to present interfaces.

You got my vote! Please build this!! You know the amount of people wanting this has to be exponentially higher than those actually requesting it.

This would be great for showing and quick updates. Going to spend a weekend at Startup weekend and this would let me leave my laptop behind. Xoom is easier to carry around.

Adobe has released the Proto for tablets. It can save the wireframes as html. But you have to use their cloud to get to the files.
You could tie it to the mybasamiq site

Even a "limited functionality" version to start would have my $$$ vote. As a mybalsamiq user, I still can't get the markup speed that I get from a laptop.
I'm a Moto Xoom/4G user. -
-
on the other hand, flash for mobile is dead (adobe stopped even the android-implementation). but mobile is on the rise. with win8 even more. so a "web app" becomes feasable.
-
You might be right, but Adobe claims to continue supporting Air on all major platforms.

Yes, Balsamiq on android, please. Could be a very lucrative app for you guys, and very productive for us.

+1 for Android app for tablet with a cloud service for the project.
In this way i can work fastly also during my travel or when i need to mockup an idea soon.
Tks :) -
-
+1 for my Asus transformer prime. Would definitely buy a Balsamiq app if it would allow me some finger-friendly editing.
